How do I register for a class?
You register by purchasing a class with the Buy Now button on the Training Classes page. Upon completion of your purchase, we will email you with confirmation of your purchase, and instructions about attending the class at the scheduled date and time.

How do I attend an online class?
We use GoToTraining to host our training classes. In the class confirmation email that we send to you, you will be given a browser link to the class. When you click that link on the day and time of the class, your browser will take you to the training site. We recommend that you click the link at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time to give yourself plenty of time to get set up.

What kind of computer do I need to attend a class?
We use GoToTraining to host our training classes, so the technical requirements are determined by GoToTraining.com. If your computer is less than three years old, you're probably OK. To be sure, you should visit GoToTraining FAQs, and click on the link named "Attending a Training Session".

Do I need QuickBooks installed on the computer I use to attend the class?
No, you do not need QuickBooks to attend the class. You will be viewing the trainer's QuickBooks demonstrations through your internet link. ***

What is the cancellation policy for your classes?

I have never used QuickBooks before. How will this class help me?
QB101w: QuickBooks Basics is the perfect class to get you started using QuickBooks. We will cover the basics, such as how to get around in QuickBooks, pay bills, enter deposits, create invoices, and much more. We will also show you how those entries affect your financial reports.

I already use QuickBooks. How will this class help me?
We recommend our QB101w: QuickBooks Basics class even if you have been using QuickBooks for several years. You will probably learn a few tips and tricks you have not seen before. But, more importantly, you will finally learn how the entries you make in QuickBooks affect your financial reports.

I am a business owner. Why should I attend your class?
Our QB101w: QuickBooks Basics class is important for you to attend even if you will not be the one paying bills or creating invoices in QuickBooks. You will learn how to use QuickBooks reports to make better financial business decisions, to have more meaningful tax planning conversations with your CPA, and to review the work of your bookkeeper to ensure accuracy and help prevent fraud. Be sure to bring your bookkeeper to our class so they can learn QuickBooks too!

Our QB101w: QuickBooks Basics online class will teach you the important basic features of QuickBooks, like paying bills and creating invoices. We will also be offering classes to teach you critical year-end reporting procedures, like 1099 preparation. All of our classes focus on teaching you business processes, tax requirements, and financial reporting so you can be an even more valuable resource for the business you serve!

What version of QuickBooks will you be teaching?
We will be using QuickBooks Premier 2010 for Windows in our classes. Many of the features and all of the accounting concepts are the same for the different versions and years of QuickBooks software. Our classes will provide you with the information you need to use any year's version of QuickBooks Pro or Premier for Windows. ***

I have not purchased QuickBooks software yet. What version should I buy?

QuickBooks is a registered trademark of Intuit Inc. Launch 101 is not affiliated with Intuit Inc. However, all Launch 101 classes are taught by an experienced QuickBooks consultant who has earned Advanced Certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor through an Intuit Inc. training program.
